Our Project Management Methodologies course provides students intimate knowledge of all the elements of a structured project and how they integrate with each other. From concept to closure, students learn what is necessary, why it's important, and how to make it happen. This course has been enhanced to include Agile Product Management which builds on the knowledge of traditional Project Management by adding the fluidity and change philosophy introduced by the Agile technique. This course is recommended not only for Project Managers and Software Development Managers, but for anyone holding or wanting to hold a general management position.

Here you will learn the generally recognized practices of project management acknowledged by the Project Management Institute (PMI®) to successfully manage projects.

Target Student:

This course is appropriate for persons who wish to develop professionally, increase their general management skills, apply a formalized and standards-based or Agile approach to project management. It is ideal for those who seek career advancement by moving into a formal management, project management, or software development management role and prepares the student to confidently apply for Project Management Institute, Inc. (PMI®) Project Management Professional (PMP®) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) Certification.

Prerequisites:

Familiarity with project management concepts and some working experience with project management is helpful but not required.
Experience with a specific project management software tool is not required.
