Target Student: 

This course is appropriate for persons who wish to develop professionally, increase their general management skills, apply a formalized and standards-based or Agile  approach to project management. It is ideal for those who seek career advancement by moving into a formal management, project management, or software development management role and prepares the student to confidently apply for Project Management Institute, Inc. (PMI®) Project Management Professional (PMP®) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) Certification. 

Prerequisites: 

• Familiarity with project management concepts and some working experience with project management is helpful but not required. 
• Experience with a specific project management software tool is not required.
