At X.L.o.s. Education Center we offer three friendly, beginner-focused AI courses: AI Fundamentals (core concepts, simple data practices, and hands‑on no‑code model building), Applied AI for Business (spotting use cases, quick low‑code prototyping, and practical project planning), and Responsible AI & Data Literacy (privacy basics, spotting and reducing bias, clear explanations, and simple governance). Through short instructor-led sessions, demos, labs, and small team projects, students learn by doing—building easy prototypes and straightforward plans—so they leave confident to start safe, useful AI projects at work.
This course is for absolute beginners — no prior AI experience or knowledge required.
Students will learn core AI concepts—what AI and machine learning are, common algorithm types (classification, regression, clustering), and the difference between training and inference. They will gain practical data skills including basic data inspection, cleaning, and understanding data quality, plus simple evaluation metrics (accuracy, precision, recall) to judge model performance. Throughout the course learners will build familiarity with real-world use cases so they can recognize where AI can add value in everyday business problems.
Learning is hands-on and accessible: short instructor-led lessons introduce concepts, followed by demos and guided labs using no-code/low-code tools to build and test simple models. Activities include spreadsheet-based data exercises, a step-by-step prototype lab, and a final mini project where teams present their model, findings, and next steps. Emphasis is on plain-language explanation, practical application, and leaving students confident to pilot small, responsible AI projects at work.
This course is for absolute beginners — no technical background required.
Students will learn how to identify practical AI opportunities in business—automation, prediction, personalization, and insight—and translate them into clear objectives and KPIs. The course covers data needs and feasibility checks, simple solution options (rules, models, chatbots, automations), and basic ROI and risk considerations so learners can prioritize high‑impact, low‑effort pilots. By the end, participants will be able to produce a one‑page use‑case brief and a concise project plan for a small AI pilot.
Learning is hands‑on and approachable: short instructor-led modules introduce concepts, followed by guided labs using low‑code/no‑code tools to build quick demos. Activities include data mapping and gap analysis, sketching solution pipelines, a prototyping lab, and a PMI‑aligned planning workshop (scope, timeline, RACI, simple risk register). Students finish with a prototype screenshot and a one‑page project plan they can use to kick off a real pilot.
This course is suitable for non-technical learners, managers, and team members with no prior AI experience.
Students will learn core data literacy—how to inspect and clean datasets, recognize common quality issues, and identify sensitive fields that require protection. The course covers privacy fundamentals (consent, anonymization), bias sources and simple detection methods, and practical techniques for explaining model outputs in plain language. By the end, learners will be able to spot data problems, assess basic fairness concerns, and produce clear, stakeholder-ready summaries of model behavior and limitations.
Learning is hands-on and approachable: brief instructor-led lessons introduce each topic, followed by practical exercises using sample datasets and simple worksheets or visualization tools. Activities include a data-quality checklist, a bias-detection exercise, crafting a one-page non-technical model summary, and a final capstone risk & mitigation plan. The focus is on usable skills teams can apply immediately to keep AI projects safer, fairer, and easier to explain.
